One aim of productivity improvement on red beet was to restrain over-reducing the betacyanin as a secondary metabolite. Different nitrogen (N) sources were projected affect growth, yield, and both primary plant metabolites. The research carried out find effect different dosages N production betacyanin. consisted 5Ca(NO 3 ) 2 NH 4 NO 310 H O, P0 KCI, CO(NH , (NH SO with 75, 150, 225 kg N/ha without treatment control. results showed that enhancement increased higher root fresh weight (BRFW) for about 42-50% than 10H O BRFW other sources. said also contributed 36% 25% total (BT) those control, respectively. had similar BT, yet opposite patterns content (BC). increase from any source diminish 20-33% BC, which correlated BT following sigmoidal pattern based logistics model during growing period.
